About Me
Born in Athenry, in the heart of County Galway Ireland. Longtime resident of the NY area. I run my studio in Hawthorne New Jersey recording the music I love. Which is trad Irish, singer songwriter and mostly acoustic. Also I have an interest in electronica and techno and also frequently break out a strat and crank the overdrive through a Fender twin. I am proficient on piano, guitar, mandolin, bouzouki and am known to overdub 5 string and tenor banjos and piano accordions and whistles. I tour quite a bit especially in the south lands of Florida and Georgia. I usually appear on a ship for one week out of the year in a festival of Irish music at sea. I’ve performed on ships in the eastern and western Carribean, Hawaii, Antartica and Mexico but I limit my ship time to one week a year usually Winter. I like to sail, kayak, snorkel, hike, bike and may do a log bike ride on a Harley soon from LA to Montana or the Dakotas.
