Just like any other professions, there also comes a time when even those die hard body builders need to lift their last set of bicep curls and leave their barbell behind. They also need to say goodbye to their fellow power lifters. No matter how well he have lived his life and no matter how successful was his career of body building, there is always a time to quit things.
To retire from body building is one thing not accompanied by clear cut check off system. This is a personal decision which arises from several factors. Age is of course the very first factor. There are certain age that is considered unhealthy to take doses of intensive workouts. This is because bones also become fragile and the other organs develop complications making their workouts impossible. One’s body health is the second factor and personal decision is the third factor.
whatever is your reason for retiring, it is important that you make the process of retiring a gradual process and not abrupt. You should decrease your workload gradually until your body successfully draws back on challenges which are expected previously.
